Stitchwar is a small 1D lane-pusher made for Jame Gam #58

Theme: Direction Special Object: Needle

Two fortresses face each other across a single strip of fabric. You place buildings inside your castle that automatically produce units: Pin Cushions send out Needle troops, Wool Baskets spwan yarn balls, Spools make Thread soldiers, and Thimbles make - Thimbles...

There is only one lane. Units spawn and move forward. No flanking, no dodging, no micro. The game is about what you build (Rock-Paper-Scissors mechanic), and when you commit to a push (special ability "Needle").

The main active ability is the Needle. It hangs above the lane, visible at all times. Spend 3 buttons (secondary ressource) to activate it and all your units get a 10-second boost: faster movement, faster attacks, and more damage. The bot can use it too. Good timing can turn a close fight into a winning push.

You win by destroying the enemy fortress. Matches usually last around two to five minutes.
